About Olan and Lynn

“In our projects in central Tanzania and in western Kenya, we want every participant to become proficient in a minimum of three job skills this next year. In addition to being employed in our local projects, this will give these leaders three or more employment options if God should call them to another place. They might be searching for employment or starting their own businesses. This coming year we will focus on “Enabling.” In previous years we have focused on training God’s servants to be missionaries, pastors, counselors, and more. This next year we will continue to focus on a more recent goal of enabling them to be self-supporting through training in job skills so they can support their families. We have already made progress by starting a bakery, café, catering for local groups, convenience store, concrete block-making, well drilling, solar cooking and a tree and plant nursery.”
