Welcome to Emerald Bay Community Church!

We worship on Sundays at 9:00 a.m. for the traditional service, and at 11:15 a.m. for the contemporary service, in the church building located at 160 La Salle Road in Emerald Bay. Between the services, please join us in the Fellowship Hall for some refreshments and the chance for us to visit. We have Bible Study after fellowship time, and Bible Study for men and women during the week.

We minister to members of Emerald Bay and individuals in the surrounding communities, offering weekly worship, organized Bible studies, as well as pastoral care to the entire community.

If you are not an Emerald Bay resident and want to worship with us, stop at the guard gate for a vehicle sticker.

You may want to arrive about 10 minutes before the service time so that you can get oriented. Our ushers will be happy to assist you.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Our worship services typically last about one hour. There are times to stand and sing and times to sit to listen and pray. For the 9:00 service, you will get a printed bulletin with the order of service as you enter the church and you will find hymnals and Bibles in the pews near you. 

Communion, also called the Lord’s Supper, is offered the first Sunday of every month. All baptized Christians are welcome to partake. Prayers are said and ushers bring trays of bread and little cups of grape juice to you in the pew; you do not need to leave your seats. If you prefer not to partake, simply pass the tray to the person seated next to you. It is our custom for everyone to wait until all have been served before consuming the bread and the juice.

You will find a wide variety of dress on Sunday mornings – from slacks and shirts to suits and dresses.

Please join us in the Fellowship Hall for some refreshments and a chance for us to meet and welcome you. We have Sunday School for all ages following our fellowship time, which you welcome to attend. After the Bible Study hour, we have our 11:15 contemporary service for those who are more drawn to that worship expression.

For the 9:00 service we offer a combo class where children from birth to 5th grade can receive love, care and a Bible lesson while their guardians worship. For the 11:15 service, we provide two classes: a Nursery Class for the younger babies and a K to 5th grade class for the older kids. We are intentional in making sure every child is made to feel that we love them, and God loves them.
